Sol is an open architecture
that provides maximum freedom.
The Sol language and the associated qualified compiler provide the highest level of abstraction and value. The compiled result is automatically certified to DAL A and runs on target. Using Sol’s unique qualified compiler, Simulink Code Inspector models can also be compiled to run on SolOS, with automated certification. You only need to prove the correctness of your Simulink source model. You can even do traditional certification and run C code on the Sol platform. This still allows taking advantage of our pre-certified SolOS-RT, an ARINC 653 compliant operating system that drives the hardware accelerations of input and output, protects memory and more.
