Certified UAV

Sol1 uses its know-how in various EDF programs and other research programs to make new designs possible.

Shown in the video is the Avilus Grille and the iMEDCAP program.

Build on top of past research results

Geocaging & Flight Termination

Using a certified instrument that can deploy parachutes for non-destructive flight termination, the geocoding instrument ensures that the drone-under-development remains strictly within the testing grounds. This significantly reduces the SAIL level during the research program.

Certifiable Flight Control

Research programs often have specific aircraft designs that require specific flight rules. Starting from Sol1's existing nominal or emergency FCC provides the research with a path the certification without having to start over when transitioning from research to commercial use.

Datalink & Data Management

Sol1's technology makes onboard data management easy, whether you need discrete, PWM, Ethernet, CAN, RS485, RS232 or ARINC 429, and all transformations between them.

For external communication, the technology allows to prioritise aircraft control data, medical data, and throttling video feeds according to priority and available bandwidth.

Takeoff & Landing Safety

Large UAV may have dangerous blades spinning. Use our takeoff & landing system to avoid harming humans on the ground.

Primary Flight/Navigation Display

Manned research aircraft often need a custom PDF/ND. Start from our PFD/ND for a clear path to certification with the research result.

Ground Control

DAL A certifiable ground cockpit

Certified & in use

Sol1 ground control instruments are part of the ground station of large military UAV with BLOS flight certification. It is in daily use by military operators. It is also used in various EDF programs as a starting point for the research.

NATO STANAG

The defence version of Sol1's ground station is complaint with NATO STANAG regulation, including parts of AEP-84.

UxV Teaming

The ground system has a plug-in system that allows to add new vehicles, and specify its capabilties. This makes it possible for operators to set out joint UGV-UAV missions.

ED-311

New EASA regulations are coming for ground systems. Sol1 is proactive in meeting these requirements, such as the the upcoming minimal operational standard for the command unit core layer of UAS to be operated in the EASA certified category of operations.

Intelligence Fabric

One pilot controlling a fleet of UxV, and multiple pilots controlling a single UxV with conflict resolution. The SolGCS intelligence fabric uses digital twin technology and applied AI to provide practical real-world control over UxV.
